Broiler feed costing is now a day become a very important point in poultry farming and at the same time performance of the feed is equally required. If the feed is low cost but FCR is high then losses are for sure in a lot. FCR could increase due to various reasons like poor quality chicks, poor water & overall management. Inadequate space and poor ventilation also raise FCR on many occasions. But the impact of feed quality on FCR is greatest and cannot be ignored if you want successful and profitable broiler farming.

If we look at the prices of ready broilers (Delhi mandi which is mainly governed by Haryana prices) last month hovered around between 88 to 94Rs vis a vis average 92Rs. Soybean meal which is the main determinant of poultry feed prices lingers around 45Rs.

Ready feed prices previously govern y soybean meal but now their correlation does not exist at all. Even if soybean meal comes to 45Rs from 60Rs ready-feed prices remain does not change. So we cannot determine ready bird prices with prevailing feed prices. Soybean meal prices and broiler prices show well-established correlations, most of the time.

Apart from price correlation, the best FCR comes on soybean meal and corn-based ration. Soybean meal and corn-based feed come under premium quality feed.

July – August 2022 – Soybean meal prices were around 54Rs & ready bird prices (please consider Sawan factor) were around 92Rs during 3rd week of July 2022 (Sawan starts 14 July).

पोल्ट्री फार्मिंग में फीड कॉस्टिंग अब एक बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण बिंदु बन गया है और साथ ही फीड का प्रदर्शन भी उतना ही आवश्यक है। अगर चारा सस्ता है, लेकिन एफसीआर अधिक है तो काफी नुकसान होना तय है। खराब गुणवत्ता वाले चूजों, खराब पानी और समग्र प्रबंधन जैसे विभिन्न कारणों से एफसीआर बढ़ सकता है। अपर्याप्त जगह और खराब वेंटिलेशन भी कई मौकों पर एफसीआर बढ़ाते हैं। लेकिन एफसीआर पर फ़ीड की गुणवत्ता का प्रभाव सबसे बड़ा है और अगर आप सफल और लाभदायक ब्रॉयलर फार्मिंग चाहते हैं तो इसे नजरअंदाज नहीं किया जा सकता है। यदि हम तैयार ब्रॉयलर (दिल्ली मंडी जो मुख्य रूप से हरियाणा की कीमतों द्वारा नियंत्रित होती हैं) की कीमतों को देखें तो पिछले महीने औसत 92 रुपये की तुलना में 88 से 94 रुपये के बीच रहा। पोल्ट्री फीड के मुख्य निर्धारक सोयाबीन मील की कीमत 45 रुपये के आसपास बनी हुई है। तैयार फ़ीड की कीमतें पहले सोयाबीन मील से नियंत्रित हुआ करती थीं लेकिन अब उनका सहसंबंध बिल्कुल भी मौजूद नहीं है। सोयाबीन मील 60 रुपये से 45 रुपये पर आ जाए तो भी रेडी-फीड की कीमतों में कोई खास बदलाव नहीं होता है। इसलिए हम प्रचलित फ़ीड कीमतों के साथ तैयार पक्षी की कीमतों का निर्धारण नहीं कर सकते। ज्यादातर समय सोयाबीन मील की कीमतों और ब्रायलर की कीमतों में अच्छी तरह से स्थापित सहसंबंध दिखाई देते हैं। मूल्य सहसंबंध के अलावा, सबसे अच्छा एफसीआर सोयाबीन मील और मकई आधारित राशन पर आता है। सोयाबीन मील और मकई आधारित फीड प्रीमियम गुणवत्ता वाले फीड के अंतर्गत आते हैं।

Broiler feed price per kg

From this chart, you can see the cost of making your feed according to the Maize and Soya DOC, the cost of oil and medicine has been added to it. Suppose you are getting Maize 24R and Soya DOC 47R, then look in front of the Maize line where 24 is written and in front Soya line where 47 is written, where both lines meet (at 37.5Rs) that is feed costing. The starter feed will be ready in 37.5Rs. Processing costs will be extra.

Poultry farming में feed costing अब एक बहुत ज़रूरी बात बन गई है, और साथ ही feed का performance भी उतना ही ज़रूरी है। अगर feed सस्ता है लेकिन FCR ज़्यादा है, तो lot में नुकसान होना तय है। FCR कई कारणों से बढ़ सकता है, जैसे खराब quality के चूज़े, खराब पानी और कुल मिलाकर खराब management। कम जगह और खराब ventilation भी कई बार FCR बढ़ा देते हैं। लेकिन FCR पर feed की quality का असर सबसे बड़ा है, और अगर आप सफल और मुनाफ़े वाली broiler farming चाहते हैं तो इसे नज़रअंदाज़ नहीं किया जा सकता।
